Highlights

IEM Melaka warmly congratulates the Technological Association Malaysia (TAM), Melaka Branch, on the successful completion of their Technical Visit to the CHINT MV & HV factories in Shanghai and the LV factories in Wenzhou, China, held from 12–16 May 2026. Led by TAM Melaka’s Chairman, Ts. Ir. Lam Choon Kay, together with TAM delegates, in collaboration with CHINT Global (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the visit offered valuable insights into advanced manufacturing practices and processes, CHINT’s strong commitment to quality and innovation, the use of technology in operations, the impressive scale of operations, and international networking opportunities.

Several participants with both membership in TAM and IEM joined the delegation. Their experience will enrich our fraternity and contribute to the professional development of our members.
