Chairman Message

Salam sejahtera and warm greetings to everyone,

I am truly honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of serving as Chairman of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), Melaka Branch for the session 2026/2027. This appointment is both a privilege and a commitment, and I look forward to working closely with all of you to ensure the continued success of our branch.

One of our key priorities is to strengthen our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes, with the collective goal of achieving at least 50 CPD hours. These initiatives are vital in supporting the professional growth of our members and in sustaining the high standards of our Institution.

Equally important, we aim to foster stronger relationships and collaborations with engineering stakeholders across Melaka, creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and shared progress. By working together, we can amplify our impact and contribute positively to the development of our state.

At the same time, we will continue to promote our fraternity and expand membership, with particular emphasis on encouraging student participation. By inspiring and guiding the next generation of engineers, we safeguard the future of our profession and ensure its continued relevance.

I firmly believe that with your support, active involvement, and spirit of camaraderie, the IEM Melaka Branch will continue to flourish and achieve greater milestones. Together, let us move forward with confidence, unity, and purpose.
