The Graduate and Student (G&S) Melaka Branch of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia serves as a dynamic platform to nurture and prepare aspiring engineers for the professional engineering landscape. It also provides exposure to the latest engineering trends and technologies through partnerships with industry leaders, mentorship opportunities, and knowledge-sharing platforms. Established over a decade ago, the G&S membership has flourished, surpassing 2,000 members, comprising both Graduate and Student members.

Recognizing the importance of staying relevant in an ever-evolving industry, the G&S Melaka Branch includes two student sections: IEM-UTem and IEM-MMU. These student-led societies enable IEM Student members to connect, learn, and grow together. Through programs such as technical workshops, seminars, industrial visits, mentorship, and networking events, student members gain valuable skills and insights essential for their professional development.
